LFC Canonical Visit. I visited the Lasallian Formation Center from 22 – 24 November. Our formation community, housing both the Postulancy and Scholasticate programs of the District, have nine members. The postulants namely Francis del Rosario, Wison Gorosin, Gelo Paragas and Ignaci Heri are deep into their pre novitiate program with classes at the Loyola School of Theology, team teaching at LSGH grade school and in-house courses facilitated by the staff. They also have various involvments in the school and in the community. Our scholastics, Brs. Aikee Esmeli and Mikey Cua also have a program suited to their post novitiate formation. Both are
teaching at the high school department of LSGH. They are also trying to juggle other responsiblities like theology classes, in-house courses and finishing their required education units.
The community is manned by an excellent and dedicated staff led by Br. JJ Jimenez and ably supported by Brs. Vince Fernandez and Mike Valenzuela. Aside from their work in the formation house, the three Brothers also have some involvement either in the District or with LSGH. I am deeply grateful for the work of accomapniment and mentoring they provide to our candidates.
