Welcome Br. Lazaro Rodriguez FSC. I wish to welcome Br. Lazaro who arrived last Thursday, 20 May. His community is at the Residencia and his ministry will be at De La Salle Zobel together with Br. Dennis. He has been given a tour of the schools in the South --- De La Salle University Dasmariñas, De La Salle Health Sciences Institute, De La Salle Canlubang and De La Salle Lipa by the Brothers. He began reporting to DLSZ yesterday. Lazaro’s assignment to the District is three years. A warm welcome to you Br. Lazaro!

Appointment of New President for the Delegation of India. On 8 May, Br. Superior announced the appointment of Br. Christopher Soosai FSC as the new President of the Delegation of India effective 1 August 2010. Br. Christopher is currently completing a Masters of Systematic Theology at the University of St Mary’s Minnesota. He was formerly Director of Postulants in the Delegation. His appointment is until April 2012, when the Delegation is due to have a Chapter. Let us keep Br. Christopher in our prayers.

LEAD Nominations Committee. The Nominations Committee (Brothers David Hawke and Mark Murphy) have met in order to prepare the process towards the first sondage. Ballot papers will be released on the Feast of St. Benilde, 13 August and to be returned by 13 September. The Committee has designed a Sondage Reflection Process for individual Brothers that will be distributed on 24th June with replies to go to Ronnie Holmes by 15 July. Ronnie is currently working on enhancing the reflection paper to make it more user-friendly. (Br. David Hawke)
