 The 12 Postulants and a Scholastic. Br. Iñigo Riola FSC pronounced first vows in front of his family, the Brothers and other members of the Lasallian Family. It was a joyful celebration of Life and Brotherhood as 12 new postulants were also formally accepted. The National Shrine of the Divine Child was packed with 400 guests including family members of the new postulants. Our contacts and aspirants from Luzon also were present to witness the inspiring event. Br. Iñigo, in keeping with the Independence Day celebrations, gave his short response in straight tagalog.
Br. Iñigo is kept very busy with his program of studies at DLSU as well as at Loyola School of Theology (LST). He teaches High School at La Salle Green Hills. Aside from the postulants’ in house classes, they take theology also at LST. The postulants all have teaching assignments at LSGH Grade School although they team teach with a veteran teacher. They have pedagocical classes to help them in their lesson planning, classroom management and delivery of lessons.
| District Assembly. I would like to invite all Brothers to attend an assembly where I will discuss the invitation of Br. Armin Luistro to be a cabinet member of the incoming government. The assembly will be at Horacio Cebrero Hall, La Salle Provincialate on Friday, 25 June at 6:00PM. There will be a Directors’ Association meeting at 4:00 – 6:00 and the assembly will commence after. Brothers in the Visayas and Mindanao need not come as the community directors are already here. Those in Luzon are encouraged to come. Dinner will be served after. |
